Bradley University again this year was named to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance list of 100 “Best Values in Private Universities,” earning the rank of 56. This is the sixth consecutive year Bradley was included in the list of four-year schools that combine outstanding academics with affordable cost.
The University again was recognized as a “Best Value School” by U.S.News & World Report in its annual Best Colleges survey. Bradley’s ranking as a Top 10 great school at a great price among Midwest Regional Universities is based on a comparison of the school’s academic quality, as indicated by its U.S. News ranking, to the net cost of attendance for a student receiving the average level of need-based financial assistance.

The Robert and Carolyn Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is the first standalone academic unit of its type in the nation.
Offering students across the University — from any major — the finest entrepreneurship education available, the Turner School seeks to nurture students’ entrepreneurial actions, innovation, creativity and cross-disciplinary learning. This mission is accomplished through a wide range of opportunities, including a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation, the Entrepreneurial Scholar Program, the Distinguished Entrepreneur Speaker Series and other valuable experiential learning activities.
A study by the Brookings Institution ranks Bradley among the Top 20 “Salary-Boosting Colleges” in the nation and as the #1 college in Illinois. Brookings estimated how much a college directly contributed to alumni salaries by predicting what their earnings would be based on a college’s institutional, student and locational characteristics and comparing that to what alumni were actually making 10 years after graduating.
The report revealed that Bradley graduates, on average, earn 35 percent more than if they had attended a comparable institution.
The first named sports communication school in the nation, The Charley Steiner School of Sports Communication is named in honor of four-time Emmy Award winner and National Radio Hall of Fame inductee Charley Steiner. The Steiner School offers students expedition courses and internships as well as symposiums and lectureships. The iconic Steiner, the play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and other media professionals will spend one week each fall teaching on campus.
