Music Scholarship Concert Series concert to feature guitarist Michael Hull

Peoria, IL (December 22, 2012) The next concert in Bradley University’s Music Scholarship Concert Series will take place on Sunday, January 22, at 3 p.m. In Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is $5 and free for students.

The concert will feature guitarist Michael Hull.  He will present a stylistic variety of music from England, the United States, Latin America and Spain.  Featured  on the program are two of the guitar literature’s most loved pieces--Leyenda and Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Spanish composers Isaac Albeniz and Francisco Tarrega.  Other works include the music of Cuba (Leo Brouwer, Julian Orbon), Venezuela (Antonio Lauro) and much more.  In addition, Mr. Hull will premiere a new work, which he composed.

Proceeds from the Music Scholarship Series benefit music students at Bradley.  Tickets are available at the door or in advance by calling 309 677-2650.
