Peoria Lunaire Presents Pierrot Lunaire

Peoria, IL (November 12, 2012) Peoria Lunaire, the Bradley University Ensemble for New Music, will give its fall performance on Friday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is free.

The ensemble will unveil its new identity as a permanent faculty performing group with a presentation of the second part of its namesake composition, Pierrot Lunaire, composed by Arnold Schoenberg and premiered one hundred years ago.

Dr. Alison Robuck will give a tribute performance of A 6 Letter Letter for solo English horn by the great American composer Elliott Carter, who died last week at the age of 103.

The concert also features premieres by current and former Bradley composition students, includingThe Changeless Mover by 2010 graduate James Marck and SomaliAsleep by Ryan Moore.
