Chicago Trombone Quartet brings unique sound to campus

The Chicago Trombone Quartet brings their unique sound to Bradley University on April 21 with a performance at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is free and open to the public.

Formed in 2004 by Chicago trombonist Tom Stark, the CTQ is in their 10th year of performances at universities, churches, and trombone workshops. The group features four of Chicago's busiest trombonists, who collectively have more than 80 years of diverse performance experience with groups like The Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Tommy Dorsey Band, and Broadway in Chicago. Their playlist includes works by Albrechtsberger, Haydn, Hindemith, and Ellington.

CTQ bass trombonist Ryan Miller is the affiliate instructor of trombone and euphonium at Bradley University. More information about the group can be found at
