String Chamber Music Concert

A string chamber music concert featuring student ensembles from the Department of Music at Bradley University will be presented on Wednesday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The recital is free and open to the public.

The program will feature string quartets, trios and a duo. Works being performed include Beethoven String Quartet in C Minor, Op. 18, No. 4, Brahms String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 51, No. 2, and works by Shostakovich and Vivaldi.

Performing in the recital are violinists Jenna Ferdon, Julie Haring, Caleb Mackinder, Alex Schmig, and Allison Griffith, violists Alyssa Przygoda and Aimee Domaszewicz, cellists Britney Whiting, Charles Spurgeon, and Carmen Klopfenstein, and pianist Kinza Hagerup.

The chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, professor of violin, viola, and chamber music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
