Biography

Bob Grimson joined the Bradley Hilltopics staff in 2011 after spending nine years
as a teacher in Peoria School District 150, most of that time at Peoria Alternative
High School. Previously, he worked more than 20 years in print journalism and
advertising. He was a reporter, copy editor, and sports news editor for the Peoria
Journal Star. His daughter MELISSA GRIMSON ’10 works for a marketing company
in Peoria.
As a Bradley student at two different times in my life, and the father of a Bradley
graduate, I know what the University means to people. I also know that Bradley and
its people are changing the world and hope to tell those stories. Plus, as a history buff, I
welcome the opportunity to communicate the school’s rich history.
