Center for Teaching Excellence and Learning
Promoting Excellence in the 21st Century “Classroom”
The Center for Teaching Excellence and Learning (CTEL) incorporates the latest technology and proven principles for instructional design and student learning to help promote the heart of the Bradley Experience both for faculty and students - excellence in teaching and learning, research, creative production, and applied scholarship.
The combined strengths of staff from the former Office for Teaching Excellence and Faculty Development and the Instructional Technology and Assistance Center are focused on supporting faculty in pursuit of Lydia Moss Bradley’s charge at the University’s founding: “I trust the learning imparted here will be of great benefit to the young people of Peoria and the vicinity.”
Please get acquainted with our new website and the services we offer. We invite you to “take five” - five minutes to walk through our website, attend one of our learning communities or other events, or come visit us in the Kaufman Building. The lights and the coffee are on!
