Provide advising support and assistance to students and faculty

Offer on-line chats on Sakai to give students immediate feedback to questions
Post announcements on Sakai
Meet with prospective students to share information about Teacher Education
Advise new students who have not yet received a full time advisor
Conduct large group and new student advising sessions
Assist Admissions Department in evaluating transcripts for prospective students
Develop ways to improve advising for faculty and students
Respond to questions from current students and prospective students regarding the Department of Teacher Education
