Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Clippers sportscaster Ralph Lawler with the 2,575th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, on March 3, 2016. The star in the category of Radio was dedicated next to 33 Taps Sports Bar. “Having Ralph Lawler, our own L.A.-based sportscaster on the Walk of Fame is a coupe for this famous sidewalk of stars,” stated Chamber President Leron Gubler. “Fans from this area and from around the country will enjoy posing next to his star at the famous corner of Hollywood and Vine.”

Along with friends and family, also attending the ceremony were former Los Angeles Clippers Sam Cassell, Gary Grant, Nom Nixon, Olden Polynice, Corey Maggette, Derek Martin, Cuttino Mobley, Lamond Murray and John Williams. Helping Emcee and Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler to unveil the star were L.A. Clippers President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Doc Rivers.

Ralph Lawler is in his 37th year as the “Voice of the Clippers” and his 40th year in professional basketball. Lawler is the third longest tenured team broadcaster in the league.
