Bradley APICS chapter finishes fourth at case competition

Bradley’s APICS chapter finished fourth at the annual Great Lakes District Student Case Competition in late February. Five industrial engineering students participated in the competition.

The competition is an overnight case study that tests students’ skills to solve real-life problems in supply chain management. Bradley competed against 24 other universities, including Big Ten schools Illinois, Purdue and Wisconsin.

“The competition challenges your educational background, ability to adapt to real-life situations, and ability to present in front of a large audience,” said Bradley APICS student chapter President Conner Garrison ‘15, of Dunlap.

Garrison was joined on the team by Troy Hung ‘15 of Hsinchu, Taiwan; Desiree Bui ’16 of Melrose Park, Illinois; graduate student Victor Gabriel of Hyderabad, India; Aditya Sreekumar ’16 of Bloomington, Illinois; and marketing major Andrew Motyl ’15 of Dunlap, Illinois.

Dr. John Yoo and Dr. Ross Fink are the team’s faculty advisors.
