The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate courses for students with interests in diverse and complex family and consumer issues. Majors include retail merchandising; food nutrition & wellness; dietetic; family and consumer sciences including teacher certification, and a graduate certificate in dietetic internship.
The Department of Leadership in Education, Nonprofits and Counseling offers graduate education to prepare administrators and counselors in schools, nonprofit, and for-profit agencies. The Department also offers a Minor in Leadership Studies at the undergraduate level.
The Department of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate education in the preparation of registered nurses and master’s prepared nurses. Innovative curricular opportunities exist for both undergraduate and graduate students.
The Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science offers undergraduate and graduate education to students interested in careers in the health care industry. The undergraduate Health Science degree prepares the student for entry into a variety of graduate studies. The Doctor of Physical Therapy prepares students as general practitioners in Physical Therapy.
