How We Promote Economic Literacy in the Schools
Teacher Education
The Bradley Center offerscredit and non-credit workshops throughout the year. Look for scheduled workshops at this site. We will also respond to your suggested workshop topics and work with you to develop a workshop at a particular school.
Instructional Materials
We can provide materials to incorporate economics into an existing curriculum, loan resource materials to teachers and administrators to help in meeting state standards, and work with individual teachers or groups of teachers in developing a curriculum around a particular theme or topic.
Events
Annual events and workshops sponsored or coordinated by the Center will be posted at this site as well as described in Center newsletters and mailings. We especially encourage student participation in such annual events as the Poster Contest for grades K-8 and the Regional Economics Fair for Grades 1-12. Classroom assistance in preparing for these events is available.
