Chad Stamper serves as the Director of Technology Commercialization at the Illinois SBDC, Bradley University. Chad is a technology commercialization and entrepreneurship professional with over 12 years of experience in bringing new products to market and launching companies. His expertise includes commercializing and licensing products from software to consumer products, and metal fabricated tools to unique materials. He has extensive experience in entrepreneurial development, business planning, identifying and achieving funding for early stage ventures, and intellectual property licensing.
Chad's past clients have secured millions of dollars in equity investment, bank financing, and government incentives. In addition to the dollars secured for clients, his business plan writing was honored by the state of Iowa with a $10,000 award at the prestigious annual Iowa John Pappajohn Business Plan Competition.
For the past five years, Chad was founder and president of Midwest Intellectual Property Marketplace, Inc., which offers technology transfer and commercialization services to companies seeking new technology/product solutions. He co-founded the Quad Cities Entrepreneur and Inventors Club, as well as served as the director and a board member for the NewVentures Initiative, a business accelerator in Eastern Iowa. Chad established a public-private seed capital fund in Eastern Iowa and was acting manager for the Quad Cities CDC, an equity investment fund. He earned his B.B.A. from Iowa State University.
