The Small Business Development Center held hands-on QuickBooks training on July 18th and 20th. Rob Smith, a partner at the CPA firm of Gordon, Stockman & Waugh, PC, lead the training. Rob is a CPA and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor®. His training and experience with small businesses in the area were a great asset to the participants. Rob covered issues for the beginning user of the program along with detailed changes that would help a seasoned QuickBooks user navigate quicker through the programs functions.
Some of the comments participants had included: "Mr. Smith was extremely knowledgeable, very approachable, and gave us many opportunities to ask questions or share concerns," "The class was extremely helpful. Thank you," "Speaker was outstanding - Knowledge + very personable," "I have attended three classes on QuickBooks and this one was the most thorough and informative," "I've worked w/ QB for 4 years + still found interest + learned new things w/ this seminar."
