Conference: Financial Strategies for International Success - April 2
A full-day conference on trade finance is planned for April 2 at the Hotel Pere Marquette, Peoria, IL. The conference will be hosted by the Illinois SBDC International Trade and NAFTA Opportunity Centers at Bradley University and will include speakers from Washington DC, Chicago, and area professionals. Though trade finance training has frequently been offered in the Peoria area, this will be the first time for a conference with multiple speakers and breakouts just focused on international finance issues. Topics will include effective and safe international payment methods, trade finance programs including working capital and foreign asset financing, international credit card transactions, international accounting issues such as transfer pricing and first-sale calculations, and foreign exchange risk. Resource agencies including ExIm Bank and the SBA will also be involved to assist companies with questions. For complete details, visit www.bradley.edu/academic/colleges/fcba/centers/turner/events/.
