Class Profile
Balanced Dynamic
Participants in the Executive MBA Program bring diverse business and social backgrounds and a broad base of leadership experience. On average, participants are 40 years of age with 10 years management experience and currently work as business managers or owners, entrepreneurs, CEO’s, CFO’s, presidents, vice presidents, directors, or in other equivalent leadership positions. Participants work for local as well as foreign–owned companies within a multitude of industries from the insurance and medical fields to agricultural industries, and from government agencies to the social service sector.
Participants find that insights learned in the classroom both inform and transform their professional and personal relationships. Study groups, mealtimes, and break times become an important social outlet and an informal opportunity to develop meaningful professional associations and learn about different corporate cultures and organizational structures. Speakers, workshops, business visits and social events, sponsored by the MBA Association, provide an opportunity to include family in the experience and further new friendships in a non–work environment.
DedicatedBecause the Executive MBA program focuses on developing the whole person as a leader, a professional, and as a person, we are dedicated to admitting participants who keep a healthy balance of personal and professional commitments. Actively involved in their community, family, and career, our EMBA participants thrive on the rigor of the program and are committed to making the most of this educational investment—for themselves and their organization. |

BroadAs a part of the Theresa S. Falcon Executive Speaker Series, participants learn from internationally known speakers, scholars, and business leaders who visit the classroom for both formal presentations and informal discussions. An international trip offers another venue for examination of topics discussed in class and an opportunity to practice skills in a new environment. |
