Curriculum
The Graduate Certificate in Management (GCM) curriculum is designed to build your interpersonal communication abilities and prepare you to take a leadership role within your area of technical expertise or as a general manager.
This 4-course (12 credit hour) program of study provides hands-on skills in the management, supervision, and leadership of organizations. GCM program students have the flexibility to tailor their studies to meet specific educational needs, strengthen areas of weakness, and/or explore special interests.
As a GCM student, you’ll take at least one of the following core courses:
- Interpersonal Relations,
- Organizational Behavior, and
- Management Theory.
Then, select an additional nine credit hours (3 courses) of elective coursework from the list below:
- Interpersonal Relations
- Organizational Behavior
- Management Theory
- Business Ethics
- Executive Development
- Marketing Decision–Making
- Obtaining, Analyzing, and Applying Market Information
- Topics in Business Administration
