Travel abroad with fellow Bradley MBA students and gain first-hand experience in business practice, economy, and culture outside the United States. Each Spring, week-long international study tours visit locales in South America, Asia, or the Pacific Rim. An international study tour offers cultural, historical, economic, and business insights to expand your perspective on current issues and opportunities within domestic and global markets.
Special lectures and research assignments prepare you with foundational cultural, historical, and economic knowledge. During your study tour, visits to select facilities and discussions with company executives afford meaningful learning experiences. Acquire new business perspectives, visit important cultural highlights, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of your unique location.
When taken for course credit, the international study tour becomes the experiential learning component of the BUS 681 Professional Development course. In addition to preparatory lectures and research, students enrolled in this course will take part in journaling assignments throughout their tour that will culminate in a final paper for the course. The study tour is also available as a non-credit opportunity.
Cost for the international study tour is approximately $3,000, including airfare. This cost includes all meals, lodging at 4-star accommodations, and transportation, as well as business, cultural, and historical site visits.
