Impact HUB Peoria, “A Meaningful Place to Work”
Margaret Mead is credited with saying, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that can." That is what Tim Krueger believes, that caused him to step away from a very lucrative career as CFO of Maui Jim and start Thrive Capital Partners, INC. a private investment company and bring an international business model called Impact HUB to Peoria.
Thrive is a Benefit Corporation, which is defined as a corporation that is legally required to give back to the community and the environment, all while making money. Thrive is in the process of renovating the old Blaine-Sumner school to be their headquarters, which is where our lecture will take place. Come out to hear Tim share his story that led him to be one of the first Benefit Corporations in Illinois and how he brought along about 1,000 of his friends on this journey with him.
