Instructors

Ms. Mandi Dyke graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Music Education. She studied piano with Susan Brandor and piano pedagogy with Carole Thibodeaux. Mrs. Dyke has been teaching piano privately for over 20 years. Several of her students have placed first in local piano competitions. Her dedication to music education and to children is demonstrated through her 10 years as a kindergarten teacher and 6 years as an elementary school music instructor.

Ms. Asako Shimasaki earned degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy – a bachelor’s degree from Eureka College and a master’s degree from Illinois State University. She is well experienced at teaching both private and group lessons and has taught piano at two universities - Illinois State and Western Illinois.
