Bradley's Summer Forensics Institute is the longest-running high school forensics institute in the nation - over 50 years of experience!  In addition, SFI is coached by members of Bradley University’s Speech Team with a record of success unmatched by any other forensic or academic program in history. 

In other words, SFI participants enjoy championship instruction at the most experienced program in the country!

Dates and Cost

Sunday, July 10 - Saturday, July 23, 2016
Wednesday, July 1 - Deadline to register and pay full tuition

Full institute fee of $1,195 covers all instruction, camp t-shirt, handouts, computer costs, lunches, dinners, final banquet, and accommodations in an air-conditioned residence hall.  The commuter fee is $1,045.

Areas of Focus

The Summer Forensics Institute will offer instruction in the following areas: Program Oral Interpretation, Oratory, Humorous Interp, Special Occasion Speaking, Dramatic Interp, Original Comedy, Informative, Declamation, Extemp, Prose, Impromptu, Poetry, Duo Humorous (both partners must attend camp), Duo Dramatic (both partners must attend camp).

Scholarship Opportunities

Special funds are reserved to assist students who have financial need.  Awards vary from $50 to $400.  If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, you must complete the Student Petition for Scholarship (PDF) which includes a recommendation by a high school principal or superintendent.  You will be notified, before the start of SFI, if you have been awarded a scholarship.
