Biography

Heather offers nearly twenty years of practical, professional public accounting experience to her students from her work as a partner in the public accounting firm of Wolf, Tesar & Company, P.C. As an audit manager and partner for over ten years, she specialized in serving governmental entities, not for profit organizations, and a variety of small to mid-size businesses.  Prior to her work there, she was an auditor at a large public accounting firm.

Outside of Bradley, her interests include traveling, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.  

Teaching

Heather enjoys providing her students with the life application tools that can be found in the study of accounting.  She appreciates students at each level of their academic career and enjoys seeing them embrace new concepts and develop as individuals. She currently teaches:

  • ATG 101 - Survey of Accounting
  • ATG 158 - Accounting Principles - Cost Management
  • ATG 457 - Auditing

Service

Heather holds her license as a certified public accountant, and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She is active in community work with her church, 4H, and Girl Scouts.
