Teaching
Dr. Perry has been a member of the Department of Business Management and Administration since 1984. She teaches Legal Environment of Business [BMA 342], Real Estate Principles [BMA 395], and Employment Law [BMA 446]. She received the Foster College of Business Administration Innovation in Teaching Award in August 2009; the Bradley University Parents' Association Certificate of Merit in April 2005; and the Alpha Kappa Psi and Phi Chi Theta Teaching Award in 1989.
Scholarship
Dr. Perry has published over 30 refereed journal articles in outlets including the Journal of Law and Family Studies, Labor Law Journal, Journal of Individual Employment Rights, The CPA Journal, Journal of Business and Accounting, University of La Verne Law Review, Journal of Academic Administration in Higher Education, College and University, Journal of Small Business Strategy, Journal of Legal Studies Education, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Journal of Technology Transfer, Industrial Management, Trial, and the Illinois Bar Journal. She received the Foster College of Business Administration National Council of Advisors Research Award in 1989. Her current research interests include mandated family mediation, the subject of her recent sabbatical leave.
Service
Dr. Perry has served as president of the University Senate, 1996-98; president of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, 1993-94; chairperson of the BMA department, 2000-2006; faculty handbook editor, 1999-2010; faculty ombudsman, 2005-2009; member of the University Senate, 1999-2010; member of the Student Arbitration Board, 1986-2011; and as chair or member of numerous university, college, and departmental committees.
