Biography
Dr. Bosma joined the Bradley University faculty in 1997. Prior to coming to Bradley, Dr. Bosma was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, taught for a year at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and taught for two years at Denison University.
Teaching
Dr. Bosma teaches General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, as well as Chemistry and Civilization.
Scholarship
Dr. Bosma’s research is in the area of computational chemistry, specifically the study of hydrogen bonding in small molecules and molecular complexes.
Service
Dr. Bosma serves on the graduate executive committee and is the graduate coordinator for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He occasionally serves as a science fair judge and as a reviewer of scientific manuscripts and grant proposals.
