Erin Miller has been teaching COM 201 Journalistic Writing since the Fall 2012 semester. She worked full time at Bradley for four years, first as assistant director of “Bradley Hilltopics” magazine, then as associate director of university publications. Erin wrote for Bradley’s faculty magazine, “Bradley Works,” for the annual president’s report and for the Bradley website. She also wrote speeches for the president and members of her cabinet.

Erin joined Caterpillar Inc. full time in July 2013, where she is a communications representative for Global Environmental Health and Safety in the Legal Services Division. She manages a weekly global newsletter, international teleconferences, a strategic communications plan and the GEHS website. In addition, Erin writes and designs a variety of communications, including presentations, posters, feature stories and speeches.

Erin volunteers as vice president of the board of directors at Peoria Players Theatre and enjoys being involved in community theater on stage and back stage. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in leadership in human service administration from Bradley.

She, her husband Greg and their daughter Lily live in Washington.
