2012 LAS Honor Student

Benjamin (B.J.) Ullom has been awarded the 2012 LAS Honor Student from the Computer Science and Information Systems Department. B.J. Ullom began at Bradley in fall 2008 and became a Computer Science major during his sophomore year. For his senior Capstone Project, B.J. is helping to construct a user interface for analytical functions used by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. He has been on the Dean’s List every semester that he has attended Bradley University. Outside of class, B.J. hosts a show on student radio called Radio Free Radio. He tutors at the Center for Learning Assistance, and he volunteer tutored for the on-campus organizations C.H.O.I.C.E.S. and Road Marcs, both of which provided free tutoring for local high school-aged kids. He interned with COUNTRY Financial in the summer of 2011 and with the independent film production Using in the summer of 2010. After graduation, he will work for Caterpillar Logistics as an IT Analyst.
