LAS Entrepreneur in Residence
April 8, 2014
Last year, Dr. Steven Dolins became the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences liaison to the Turner School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. In that capacity, Dr. Dolins initiated a LAS Entrepreneur in residence and invited Charles Spungen to campus (see the March 16, 2013 article). This year Michael Baskin is invited to be the LAS Entrepreneur in residence. He is president and chief operating officer of Inclusion=Solutions, an Evanston-based company whose products make businesses and elections accessible to people with disabilities. From 1987-2009, Michael was co-president of Mark Shale, a $60 million retail apparel business (2007), with eight stores in four states, a nationally distributed catalog and website. Michael received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Vassar College.
