History Majors Enter Posters at the OTEFD Expo

Two students representing the LAS History department each produced and presented posters highlighting their original historical research at the OTEFD 2012 Student Scholarship Exposition, April 18-19th, 2012, at the Renaissance Coliseum.
Katie Childs, a senior History major presented her research poster, Not So Little Women: Morality and Political Party Platforms During the Antislavery Movement, and was awarded Honorable Mention.
David Thompson, a senior History T and French major presented his research poster, Black Leaders Sound Off on the Free Soil Party of 1848: Frederick Douglass and Samuel R. Ward.
