Association for Operations Management
APICS is a student organization that promotes the collaboration of the business and engineering departments in the pursuit of continuing education in the operations management field. On a national level, APICS, The Association for Operations Management, is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in supply chain and operations management, including production, inventory, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources, and worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals.
Our student chapter is actively involved with its members by providing educational speakers as well as several networking opportunities with professionals and fellow students. The national organization offers professional certifications that are highly sought after in the operations management field. This is an excellent organization to join whether you are looking to build your resume, network, or interact with other members through social activities.
