Heather is a Lab Instructor for MM113. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications (Graphic and Web Design) from The Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg in 2001. Heather works at The Iona Group in Morton, Illinois as a Lead Graphic Designer. Before joining The Iona Group, she attended Graduate School at Illinois State University for Fine Arts Courses, and worked at The Herald & Review as a Graphic/Layout Artist for the Limited Magazine and various other Tabular and Newspaper Inserts. At the Herald & Review, Heather created and conceptualized an entire magazine design, illustration, and layout monthly. At The Iona Group, Heather designs and produces art using design software for visual communication media including print, video and electronic media. Heather has played an important part on many major projects for clients such as Pioneer, Tyson, Caterpillar, and the Museum of Science and Industry. As Iona’s lead designer, Heather has created various interactive looks, motion graphics, animations, web pages and entire corporate style guides to fit the varied needs of clients.
