Rottier quoted in “The Atlantic” article on social media education

Heidi Rottier, a temporary instructor in the Department of Marketing at Bradley University, recently spoke to “The Atlantic” about the foray of social media into the academic sphere.
In a Sept. 2 article on the magazine’s website, Rottier advocated for the value of teaching students the theoretical underpinnings of how technology like Facebook and Twitter impacts our lives and how that knowledge can be utilized in marketing strategies.
Bradley University began offering a social media marketing minor in 2010.
