Junior Kelsey Quarton and freshman Emily Bartosh attended the University of Nebraska Conference for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics in January.

In addition to the usual mathematics presentations, this conference featured discussions on jobs, graduate school, summer research opportunities, and “juggling life and a math career.”  Quarton spoke on her results from last summer’s REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) at the University of Iowa.
