LuAnn Stoskopf teaches Woodwind Techniques at Bradley University. She received her B.A. in Music Education from Western Illinois University and her Master of Music Education from Illinois State University. She has taught string orchestra in Morton District 709 and band, choir, general music, and keyboard music in Peoria District 150. Ms. Stoskopf has also served as the marching band flute instructor at East Peoria High School. After teaching thirty one years in District 150, she retired from the position of band director at Lindbergh Middle School in May 2013.
An active performer in the Peoria area, Ms. Stoskopf plays piccolo in the Peoria Municipal Band and flute in the Prairie Wind Ensemble. Her additional flute studies include masterclass participation and lessons with flutist/composer Gary Schocker. She has taught flute, clarinet, and saxophone privately and continues to maintain a flute studio in her home.
Her professional affiliations include the National Flute Association, Illinois Music Educators Association, and National Association for Music Education.
