The Bradley Nursing Student Association (BNSA) has big plans for this year.
This week, the group held its first meeting of the semester. Seniors discussed their summer internships and the value of the experience they gained while working one-on-one with practicing nurses.
On September 24, BNSA members will be volunteering at the Ninth Annual Mark Linder Walk for the Mind at the River Plex. Members will assist with setting up and running the event.
November 18-20, the Student Nurse Association of Illinois will hold its annual convention in Peoria with the assistance of the BNSA and Bradley’s Department of Nursing.
In addition to this semester’s plans, members are already planning their second annual BNSA Charity Dance for the Women’s Center for the Prevention of Abuse, to be held in the spring. Last year, the dance was the group’s biggest philanthropy event.
