Department of Nursing Honors Graduating Seniors

Graduating Senior Nursing Majors at Bradley University receive nursing pins at ceremony held May 11, 2012 at Renaissance Coliseum on the campus of Bradley University.

May 12, 2012

On May 11, 2012 the Faculty of the Bradley University Department of Nursing held a Senior Recognition Ceremony to mark the transition of graduating seniors from the role of student to professional nurses.

Awards for student leaders and scholars were awarded during this ceremony.

The pinning portion of the ceremony is a time honored tradition in the nursing profession.  Pinning is a symbolic gesture where students are presented with their nursing pin on behalf of the faculty to welcome them into the profession.  The Bradley Nursing Pin symbolizes the history of Bradley University and creates a connection between the graduating nurse and the comprehensive baccalaureate education they received while on the Hilltop.

This year 58 graduating seniors received their nursing pins and will enter the nursing profession.  Congratulations to our graduating seniors!
