Accelerated Nursing Students Recognized

Accelerated BSN Students at recognition ceremony August 2012 with Bradley President Joanne Glasser and Provost David Glassman.

August 21, 2012

The Nursing Department at Bradley University held a ceremony to recognize the hard work and academic achievement of seven students who will graduate from Bradley University this month with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.  These students are the second cohort of Bradley's very successful accelerated nursing program.

The pinning portion of the ceremony is a time honored tradition in the nursing profession.  Pinning is a symbolic gesture where students are presented with their nursing pin on behalf of the faculty to welcome them into the profession.  The Bradley Nursing Pin symbolizes the history of Bradley University and creates a connection between the graduating nurse and the comprehensive baccalaureate education they received while on the Hilltop.
