Dr. Priscilla Weaver, PT, PhD, DPT, PCS is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Clinical Education at Bradley University in the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Science. Dr. Weaver is originally from the Peoria area and now resides locally with her husband and two children.
Dr. Weaver is an instructor in the areas of pediatrics and cardiopulmonary physical therapy within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She also teaches exercise physiology in the undergraduate Health Science curriculum.
Dr. Weaver achieved Board Certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist in 2011. Dr. Weaver's research is on physical therapy practice in early intervention and the competence of entry-level professionals.
Dr. Weaver is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Illinois. She delivers services as an early intervention physical therapy provider in the natural environment to infants, children, and their families. Dr Weaver is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves on the Section on Pediatrics' Early Intervention Special Interest Group leadership team. She also is a member of the Easter Seals Program and Services Committee.
