Andrew Gillen Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Academic Hall of Fame
April 29, 2014
Andrew Gillen, a psychology and religious studies double major, was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Hall of Fame, spring 2014. Phi Kappa Phi, founded in 1897, is a highly selective national honor society. Each year the Bradley University chapter selects up to five academically exceptional seniors for Hall of Fame membership. Since 2008, five psychology majors have won this prestigious academic honor.
Gillen has been actively involved in scholarly and community service activities during his years at Bradley. He has collaborated with faculty on research projects in the psychology department since his freshmen year and has presented his findings at national conferences. He has also served as president of the department’s award winning chapter of the National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi). He will continue his studies next fall by attending graduate school at the University of Missouri.
