April 29, 2014
Andrew Gillen, a psychology and religious studies double major, was inducted this spring into the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Hall of Fame, a highly selective national honor society founded in 1897. Each year, the Bradley University chapter nominates up to five academically exceptional seniors for Hall of Fame membership. Since 2008, five psychology majors have won this prestigious academic honor.
Gillen has been actively involved in scholarly and community service activities during his years at Bradley. He has collaborated with faculty on research projects in the Psychology Department since his freshman year and has presented his findings at national conferences. He has also served as president of the department’s award winning chapter of the National Honor Society in Psychology (Psi Chi). He will attend graduate school at the University of Missouri.
