Sociology major wins award at 2011 Student Scholarship Exposition
October 26, 2011
Sociology major Jonathon Holland ’11 received the Provost’s Award for his project, “College Students’ Knowledge of and Beliefs about Socialism and their Attitudes toward Leftist Economic Policies,” at the University’s 19th annual Student Scholarship Exposition in April. Students have the opportunity to present research projects completed throughout the year at the Exposition, which is held at the end of the spring semester.
Holland’s survey-based analysis, directed by Dr. Liz Crawford, was funded by a University grant for faculty-student collaborative research.
