Congratulations to Honored Faculty and Students 2013

May 10, 2013

Several Teacher Education students were honored at the Spring Honors Convocation, an event that recognizes graduating seniors and graduate students who have achieved high honors in the College of Education and Health Sciences. Faculty also were recognized with prestigious awards for service, research and teaching. In 2013, these honors were bestowed on two members of the Department of Teacher Education. Dr. Sherrie Pardieck earned the service award for all her work within the Bradley University environment but especially for her work with the Professional Development Schools. In addition, Dr. Jana Hunzicker received the teaching award for exceptional dedication to students in her courses.

Also in the spring, Bradley University honors those with the highest academic grades with the Summa Cum Laude Dinner. These graduates achieved a GPA over the course of their degree program at 3.80 or higher. Ten seniors from the Department of Teacher Education were acknowledged by President Joanne Glasser.  Faculty invited by their students to join the banquet were Drs. Cecile Arquette, Patricia Nugent, Deitra Kuester, Jana Hunzicker, and Twila Lukowiak.
