Westlake family welcomes new addition

A new addition has joined the Westlake family! Mhairi Doty, secretary for the College of Education and Health Sciences and Department of Teacher Education and student in secondary education-mathematics, and her husband, Ryan Doty, of Washington welcomed their son, Eian Mac Doty, on July 10, 2009.
Greatly missed while on maternity leave, everyone realized what an asset she is to the department.
Eian is growing up quickly. His favorite pastime is watching their Yorkie, Ebin, and laughing as this four-legged friend entertains him.
The family enjoyed their first Christmas together, although Doty says Eian liked the wrapping paper better than anything else.
