Ordering and Picking up Your Academic Regalia for Commencement
All graduate students participating in Commencement must rent their academic regalia. You will not be able to use a cap, gown, or hood used by friends in other Commencements. To insure a proper fit, you must order the exact cap size you need; you must also order the correct hood for your degree. You have two options to rent these items:
1) Contact the Bradley Bookstore to place your order by April 1, 2013.
2) Submit your order on line at www.herffjones.com/college/bradley by March 31, 2013.
The rental cost is $119.98 for the Doctoral candidates and $66.98 for the Master candidates. The Doctoral candidates receive a keepsake tassel with their order. The Masters candidates’ tassel on the cap is a keepsake tassel. All orders received after the deadlines must be made in person at the Bookstore. Late orders will be assessed an additional fee of $15.00. We cannot guarantee that late rental orders can be fulfilled. Please remember the cap, gown and hood are a rental and must be returned after Commencement.
If you would like to purchase a hood to keep, you can place a special order with the Bookstore. Please contact the Bookstore for the cost of purchasing a hood. Hoods cannot be purchased online. You may not keep the hood you use at Commencement.
The Bradley Bookstore also has invitations, diploma frames, and many other graduation accessories available. Stop in and see their selection. They will also be at the Graduation Fair.
You may pick up your cap, gown and hood during the following dates and times:
Peplow Pavilion in the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center
May 9, 2013 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
May 10, 2013 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Bradley Bookstore
May 11, 2013 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Graduate School (200 Bradley Hall)
May 13, 2013 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
May 14, 2013 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
