Entrepreneurs in Residence
Successful entrepreneurs spend time on the Bradley campus to provide confidential one-on-one advice to student entrepreneurs, speak in classes, and support other Turner School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation programs.
Recently, the Turner School of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences co-sponsored Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Charles Spungen. Mr. Spungen founded and developed a leading manufacturing company for hydraulic components and self-lubricated bearings. His vision led to the creation of one of the most advanced manufacturing plants in the United States.
Mr. Spungen gave a university-wide talk on the value of a liberal arts and sciences education and its relevance to entrepreneurship.
During his time on campus, Mr. Spungen conducted individual coaching sessions with aspiring student entrepreneurs. Students from all colleges on campus met with Mr. Spungen to obtain practical advice on launching and growing their entrepreneurial ventures.
