Dr. Cindy Brubaker teaches undergraduate medical-surgical nursing and pharmacology; and graduate research. She is involved in both classroom and clinical
instruction. Her areas of clinical experience and interest include
cardiovascular medicine and critical care.
Areas of research interest include online and distance learning and informatics, and student
nurse dispositions (i.e., caring and moral judgment); and recruitment
of students into nursing.
Degrees &
Certification
Dr. Brubaker received a diploma in nursing (1976) from Swedish American
Hospital School of Nursing in Rockford, Ill.; a BSN (1983) from Bradley
University; and a MS, FNP (1991) from the University of Illinois at
Chicago, and an EdD (2005) in Curriculum and Instruction from Illinois
State University. She has been a certified CPR instructor since
1980. |
