Jacklyn Ruthman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing.  She teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Her undergraduate content areas are focused on chronic medical illness models.  She teaches the graduate research sequence.  Her research interests include informed decision making, the elderly, and teaching methodologies.  She considers her most important role as learning facilitator.  Dr. Ruthman also chairs the University's IRB Committee (CUHSR).

Professor Ruthman earned her BSN (1976), MS (1984), and PhD (1998) from the University of Illinois.
