Why study physical therapy at Bradley?

You’ll be prepared to join a fast-growing profession. As a profession committed to improving the quality of life of individuals—from infants to the elderly, and from athletes to those stricken by disease or injury—physical therapy is a fast-growing field, and will continue to be, as the U.S. population ages. In fact, according to The Wall Street Journal, the job market for physical therapists and their assistants will grow 80 percent between 1996 and 2006.

You’ll get an excellent hands-on education. Five closely supervised clinical rotations, more than 125 clinical settings to choose from, an experienced faculty: our program offers the best blend of theory, basic science, and clinical experience available.

You’ll have the benefit of a great student-to-faculty ratio. In laboratory courses the ratio is 12:1. That’s where you’ll get to know and work with colleagues, ask lots of questions, and learn directly from well-trained practitioners and dedicated teachers.

Your work will be satisfying and interesting. Physical therapists work to restore movement, improve function, and promote healthy lifestyles. They’re qualified to evaluate and treat nearly any movement impairment. With training from Bradley—which offers a solid foundation in both theory and basic science—you’ll be prepared to practice and to evolve as the profession and technologies evolve.
