Dr. Twila Lukowiak joins the Department of Teacher Education as an Assistant Professor of Special Education. She received her Doctorate and Master’s degree in Special Education with expertise in behavioral and emotional difficulties as well as a B.S. degree from Texas Tech University. Dr. Lukowiak also holds an Educational Diagnostician’s Certification and a Reading Specialist Certification. She has taught students with learning and behavioral difficulties in the public school system in Lubbock, Texas for twelve years.
