Greetings!  My name is Colleen Slane and am the person to contact with regard to College LiveText.  Instructions are posted to the left, however, feel free to contact me or stop by my office in 207 Westlake Hall for assistance.  My office hours are 8:30-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-5:00 p.m. 

College LiveText is a department-wide requirement needed for all certification areas and all classes, freshman through senior.  College LiveText is available at the Bradley University Bookstore and online (http://college.livetext.com).   College LiveText is purchased only once and is good for one year after graduation.  After one year, students can re-purchase College LiveText to access their work and can be renewed yearly. 

BU students will use College LiveText for:

• submitting targeted assignments in ETE classes
• advancement to candidacy
• novice and student teaching
• portfolio construction (both developmental and professional)

In addition, graduates may create re-certification plans for their first year of classroom teaching.

Department of Teacher Education faculty will use College LiveText to:

• review advancement to candidacy
• analyze student achievement in specific assignments
• provide online coaching
• document compliance with State of Illinois Professional Teaching Standards
• document compliance with National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education
