Images

You can complement your written material by uploading a supporting image or simply create a Text & Image section that contains an image by itself.  Please note that images must be uploaded into the LiveText environment before they can be used with your document.

  1. Click the edit link that corresponds with the Text & Image section that you would like to edit.
  2. Under the Choose an image section, click the Browse ... button to select the desired image from your computer.
  3. Enter an Image caption.
  4. Choose an Align image option that will best suit your needs.  Images may need to be resized or converted using image editing software.  For best results, save edited images as .jpg or .gif file format.
  5. Click the Upload & Preview image link to upload the image.
  6. Click the Save Section button and your image will appear in your document section.

Remember, when you are editing a Text & Image section, images will only appear in the preview area; they will not appear in the text editor.  You will only see text and images together when you are actually viewing the document in view mode.

Removing Images

  2. Click the Edit Attachments links.  A new window will open which will allow you to browse for the material you wish to attach.
  3. Click the Browse... button.
  4. Locate the file on your computer that you wish to attach.
  5. Click the Attach button.  While the file is uploading, you will see a status bar indicator.
  6. When the upload process is complete, click the Finish button.  Keep in mind that you can add up to ten attachments to your section simply by repeating the steps listed above.  If you need to add more than ten attachments, create an additional Text & Image section or simply attach a compressed file.
