You
can complement your written material by uploading a supporting image
or simply create a Text & Image section that contains an image
by itself. Please note that images must be uploaded into the
LiveText environment before they can be used with your document.
- Click the
edit link that corresponds with the
Text & Image section that you would like to edit.
- Under the
Choose an image section, click the Browse ... button
to select the desired image from your computer.
- Enter an
Image caption.
- Choose an
Align image option that will best suit your needs.
Images may need to be resized or converted using image editing
software. For best results, save edited images as .jpg or
.gif file format.
- Click the
Upload & Preview image link to
upload the image.
- Click the
Save Section button and your image will appear in your document
section.
Remember,
when you are editing a Text & Image section, images will only
appear in the preview area; they will not appear in the text editor.
You will only see text and images together when you are actually
viewing the document in view mode.
Removing
Images
- Click the
edit link that corresponds with the
Text & Image section that you would like to edit.
- Click the
Edit Attachments links. A new
window will open which will allow you to browse for the material
you wish to attach.
- Click the
Browse... button.
- Locate the
file on your computer that you wish to attach.
- Click the
Attach button. While the file is uploading,
you will see a status bar indicator.
- When the
upload process is complete, click the Finish
button. Keep in mind that you can add up to ten attachments
to your section simply by repeating the steps listed above.
If you need to add more than ten attachments, create an additional
Text & Image section or simply attach a compressed file.
