Mechanical Engineering Pi Tau Sigma

In the fall of 1960, the faculty of Bradley University recognized the need for an organization to honor the students in the field of mechanical engineering. Under the able leadership of Professor Harold B. Ratcliff, a petition was organized for a chapter of Pi Tau Sigma. The petition was received and approved in the spring of 1961.

On May 11, 1961, the Bradley Tau Omega Chapter was installed by National President D.S. Clark and National Secretary-Treasurer J.W. Bayne with the aid of the student presidents from Illinois Alpha and the Purdue Beta Chapters.

The Bradley Chapter cooperates with the Mechanical Engineering Department in promoting scholastic ideals. The chapter promotes academic excellence and achievement with involvement in both scholastic and social events.
